Singapore Flyer the World’ Largest Observation Wheel and The New Icon of Singapore open last April 15, 2008.
The world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel stands for Singapore’s vision to the highest level in the future. The Singapore Flyer stands at 165 meters; with a diameter of 150 meters is equivalent to 42-storey building. The groundbreaking ceremony was held last September 2005, with Mr. Mah Bow Tan, Minister for National Development. It takes approximately 2 and a half years to complete the Singapore Flyer.
Singapore Flyer Pte Ltd. announces this Photography Contest for their Icon Photo to be use with promoting tourism inthe country. The contest is open to all Singaporeans, permanent residents and foreigners. Eventually, the cNovember 24, 2002ontest is well participated by amateur and professional photographers all over the country and neighboring countries.
