The Eagles sold over 120 million albums worldwide making them the highest selling American band in the US history.
The Eagles an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. One of the most successful bands with six Grammy Awards, five American Awards and six number one albums. Glen Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
The band broke up in 1980 up to 1994. After 14 years, the band reunited and came up with their album
Hotel California the fifth album and become the signature song of the band covers the album, Hell Freezes Over. The song Hotel California won the band two Grammys selling 16 million copies in the US alone. In 2001, the song ranked number 38 on 100 Greatest Albums of all time. In 2005, it ranked number 13 by British survey for the 100 Greatest Album of all Time.
The band received their 5th Grammy Awards in 2008 for their album “How Long”
