Believe Me When I Say (a Poem)

               ♥ ♥ ♥

If I told you that, I love you
I hope that you will understand
Believe me I am a mortal too
Who cannot reach the moon and the stars

               ♥ ♥ ♥

If I told you that, I love you
Because I’m just an ordinary human
With common experiences and burden
That I carried everyday upon my shoulder

             ♥ ♥ ♥

If I told you that, I love you
I wish you will hug me with

an open eye
That I am not superhuman to make you feel immortal
My love may die someday with my flesh turn to dust and decay

                       ♥ ♥ ♥

I may not be a romantic poet and promised nothing
That you won’t cry if I cannot comply
The future is bright so don’t feel bad
Let’s hope for the best and do what it takes

                 ♥ ♥ ♥

Come and let’s build a new dimension
And further develop a free world of passion
So if I told you that I love you
You will see that my world is true.

                   ♥ ♥ ♥

Enough of cursed broken vows
Stop tears from damned make believes
This life is compelled with reality
So wake up

from fairy tales and happy ending stories.

                 ♥ ♥ ♥

Believe me when I say that I love you
Believe me when I say I am wrong
Believe me when I say I am hurt
I am human with imperfection and misconduct.

                       ♥ ♥ ♥

Why I say I love you it’s a question that I am asking too
When have I learnt and discover that I love you
It was never planned or designed either by me or by you
It grows naturally, ask yourself and you will know.
